I listen to music nearly non-stop here. Either on the stereo, through iTunes or live (yes, there are bluegrass musicians in and out of the house). So, to ask myself what am I listening to right now means RIGHT NOW. So, I grabbed this morning's last seven songs. I never seem to hear back from the flist about sharing files - so if you dig these files or want files, tell me!

I don't understand why using iTunes to rip songs makes them proprietary. That should not be happening!

No, see that's just the thing. These are NOT iTunes songs - they're ripped by me and on my cdburner from a real live cd. I also have check-marked the box that makes these rip in mp3 format...so I don't get it.

Haven't listened to anything in ages, will have to to dredge up iTunes tonight and see what they have.
