Look at what I have! The most beautiful and haunting girl ever to be cast in resin. She's beyond the beyonds and I am forever grateful to the person who helped me bring her home. She IS normal skin and I have her on the pinky-white Masha body - the resin match is not the best, she's more yellow than the body, but the proportions are aesthetically just what I had wanted. I want a GIRL. Of course I am going to hold out for the Dollstown body - and I may just go ahead and bring home another Elysia head in white with the white 13girl body, too. She's the perfect ghost.

This is a quick test shot for resin comp - any Volks experts out there who can recommend a better tone match? Does Volks make a double-jointed girl body? I am planning on all sorts of photographic interp with her. Stay tuned.

More later - I've got a ton of the flist to catch back up on and housework and brownies to bake and an allergy-induced headache to nurse ...

so she's probably too light for volks regular, since that's volks white you've got her on.... hm. volks swarrico sd10 is a nice body that I think you'd like - not ginormous boob job boobs, and she can sit swarrico and stands like a champ. Ashby's body. But I think she's too light for that, actually.

hey. Wonder if she'd match old customhouse. Hey. She might.

IF YOU WANT - you can send me her head and I can try on my bodies here. And I can, knowing you luff her, do it quick and send her back QUICK. LMK if I can help you with that.

Exactly, sher. I think she's completely between this white and the volks regular - but the regular would probably be closer...I really do NOT want to pay the swarrico price, though. Guess I'll just hold out for a DT.

Hey, I would SO BE DOWN with you trying this head on bods for me - do you have double-jointed girlie bods there???? You are such a sweetie!

double-jointed.. not sure what you mean by that, I know it's pathetic I have to ask, but there you have it. do you mean they have a torso joint?

swarricos go up and down... anywhere from 330 to 450.

some people say customhouse dolls don't pose well but I JUST disagree. My CH girls are my champion standers and they can twist around to look way over their shoulders. my other dolls can't do that and hold the pose. the downside is, that if that is a winner resin match, older CH bodies don't seem to come up for sale often. i've been trying to watch for one for Lennox, and just don't see them come up. but it might be worth a try, just to see how the MATCH is, you know!

with a faceup... it might be better if her head is lighter than her bod and not vice versa. cuz with a faceup her head will look even darker.

Wow - thank you so much! I'm truly thrilled with her - it's such a wonderful feeling when you WANT a mold and then when they show up they are absolutely what you were LONGING for!!!

Now to get a Dollstown bod.

Double jointed? What do you mean by that? I agree with Sher. I'm not sure that Dollstown will be a good match with volks at all either. I've seen Christy's Seola... she would probably be the BEST person to ask on what body to match her up with as Christy is, like, the best knowing about resin matching Dollstown (well, she has a doll and has seen a lot of different bodies).

I love the Elysia face sculpt. I've got mine currently off getting her faceup. Then I will also wait for a Dollstown body . . . probably the 13 girlbody. ^____^

Eeeep! Pretty!!!!

Which is all I can manage at this point. Thoughts are not translating to words at the moment, but there's something vaguely resembling "fog/mist personified" floating around in there. I'll attempt to fish for coherency sometime later.
