ABJD Tarot - The Magician
Played with The Boy a little bit today. I shoot only in natural light, outside in open shade, but today it's fookin ass-freezin' cold out there, so I ran outside and shot a handful of pictures then ran back inside and drank hot tea and basically accepted that whatever I got is what I'm going to get today. Heh.

I'm going to buy a normal skintone pair of the Soom hands today or tomorrow. I did try them on a whiteskin Dollshe body and the match still isn't perfect. They are truly bone white and make the DS body look downright creamy in tone. I'm hoping the ns pair will be a match for the Bermann body above, cuz, damn, it's all still about the Perfect ARTiculated male for me and the Bermann body is such a vital part of the perfection.

	5th one down is my favorite. I think it's that he glows - the light with the wings makes him seem so... ephemeral. (and how cool is the little hourglass!!!) I'm all curious now, though - is the Bermann body a different white from that of the regular run dolls? IM Hound over here is so white he makes my paper-white CP dolls look painfully greenish yellow. 	The Bermann body is quite different from the Version 2 Dollshe body you have - in a million different ways. BUT those hand comp pix are taken on a whiteskin Version 2 Dollshe bod!!!!!!!!!! Surprising huh? The body looks cream in tone not the white white it is because those hands are bone white. My metering was a bit off because the hands are SOOOOOOOOOOO white! Ha - I clearly wasn't reading carefully. Oops.

And yeah! I want to see some non-tan Bermann so I can see the body again in person and actually compare.

I hope the hands won't be too dark. (I'm babysitting an NS Dollshe critter right now and he's quite a bit lighter than my NS Sabik. I could color compare if you want, but I'm not sure how consistent resin colors are - and aren't NS Bermanns different too?)

	I'm hoping the hands won't be too dark, either. The too white is almost better - the unidoll hands are too dark and it's strangely off-putting. :( Now, from my understanding the tan Bermanns are using the tan Dollshe body - there is no tan Bermann body? (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	That'd be correct. No tan Berrmann body. Martel has the exact same body as Aston. (and the resin match between head and body is quite different as well) (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Thanks, L, I've really been having a lot of fun with these cards - jumpstarting the ol' grey matter engine! I should just accept that what I've got in the first ten shots is what I need anyway. 	I have elysia on my old Cerebus Project BW lishe body. Resin match is good and it works for me, but if you're picky the head is really too big for the body. :) I bet it will work on your masha body. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

That's what I've been hearing, size-wise, which surprises me as she is offered with the 13girl body on DT!!!! So....I'm not sure what to shop for now - I've got a ns head and a ws head inbound! Obssess much? I will try the Masha....but I'm wondering what other bodies will work...perhaps I will shop for a cp girl! Any other suggestions?

	Ok...it's YOUR fault. I caved. I bought a pair. Mainly for The Crow so he can play his guitar. ^^ They are so cool to look at. Are they just strung with regular string? Or is there wire involved?
